How artists are turning the COVID-19 crisis into an opportunity? | When We Met Podcast
The internet was full of stories that this lockdown has affected artist's career or their business in the worst possible way, but we spoke to a few artists who have turned this crisis into an opportunity. In this week's episode of our podcast When We Met, we talk to 10 artists about how the lockdown brought in new challenges for them and how did they overcome those. These artists are writers, photographers, designers, architects, brand curators, event curators and even performing artists, and all of them have shared their stories about how they used this lockdown period to up-skill themselves or try out new creative experiments. We hope this conversation gives you some courage or motivation or inspiration and makes you look at this crisis as an opportunity to grow. How COVID-19 has affected India's Music Scene? | When We Met Podcast by Platform For Artists
In this week's episode of our podcast When We Met, Pawan Rochwani talks to Gaurav Tophakhane who is a singer songwriter from Pune and Uddipan, Adhiraj and Robert from the band @aswekeepsearching When we decided to do this topic the first question we had in our mind was to go back in time and understand how did the music industry survive in 1918 when there was a more lethal pandemic, the first world war had just ended and not to forget we did not have social media or zoom software. But this topic is not just about how can musicians survive right now or how can music labels release new music, it is about how can musicians exercise their passion by performing for their fans? And how the music scene will be for us as listeners because we get introduced to new music through gigs or when a friend recommends. You can even listen to this episode on Spotify/ Google Podcast/ Apple Podcast/ Hubhopper/ Gaana/ Anchor or any other podcast app from around the world.
