UNSEEN 2.0 is an unconventional form of exhibition which is a digital art exhibition curated by Platform For Artists . This enables artists across the country to participate, showcase their work and connect with like minded people. The entire idea is to broaden the scope of exposure which the artists would probably not get at an offline event. We have sixty diverse artists from across the country who are a part of this one of it's kind art exhibition.
Here is a set of questions team Platform For Artists asked Shruti about her everyday routine, her art interests and more.
Tell us about yourself.
I'm Shruti Damgir. I'm basically a civil engineer (proud one). And I have started my own civil engineering consultancy as well.
What are your art interests?
I love writing, working out, dancing and learning languages and about other cultures.
What are your views about the current scenario of art in our country?
Every artist struggles, especially in a country like ours where academics is given a lot of importance. But the scenario is gradually changing due to social media, changing mindsets and platforms like you guys.
What are you working on currently?
I'm currently working on writing more relatable content/quotes which are easy to understand.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Inspiration is all the things I experience everyday and my father used to write during his college days so listening to stories like those inspire me to write.
Which kind of artists would you be interested to collaborate with?
I'm open for collaboration with every kind of artist as long as it is relatable.
What's the first thing you do when you wake up ?
The very first thing I do when I wake up is thank God for another wonderful day and a blessed life.
Which is the most used app in your phone?
Instagram is the MOST used app on my phone.
Which is the one song you can't get out of your head?
Choosing just one song is tough...but off lately "Tell me" by Johnny Jewel and Saoirse Ronnan is my favorite.
You de-stress by?
I de-stress by watching something nice, working out, talking to someone close or just sleeping..it actually depends on what I feel like doing the most at that point of time.
