UNSEEN 2.0 is an unconventional form of exhibition which is a digital art exhibition curated by Platform For Artists . This enables artists across the country to participate, showcase their work and connect with like minded people. The entire idea is to broaden the scope of exposure which the artists would probably not get at an offline event. We have sixty diverse artists from across the country who are a part of this one of it's kind art exhibition.

Here is a set of questions team Platform For Artists asked Trusha about her everyday routine, her art interests and more.

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Trusha Vyas and I am from a city called Rajkot in Gujarat. After my 12th grade, I got admission in one of the finest architecture colleges in India called CEPT in Ahmedabad. I was there for two years but realized that my passion and interest lies in Photography. So, I shifted to Pune and did my bachelors in Journalism with specialization in Photography.

During three years of my studies in Pune, I realized that any form of visual art can actually help you to express yourself and bring a lot of transformation in you as a person. Photography for me is like a therapy which I need from time to time and works quite efficiently. It has helped me make a strong connection with myself, helped me overcome a lot of my insecurities and made me a more confident person that I am today.

I started taking self portraits initially only because I had no one else to shoot. And gradually I started liking the whole process of thinking about a concept, then waiting for the golden light to shoot and sitting in front of the camera. The outcome has always surprised me. Concepts for self portraits are mostly very personal with the idea to express through pictures when I can not do it with words.

What are your art interests?

I love spending time reading a lot of books, I also love painting and sketching. Being with nature has always inspired me to work more towards my art, so I love travelling.

What are your views about the current scenario of art in our country?

I believe its important for an artist to get an artistic freedom to work in any kind of genres and I think we are on our way to that. I feel really inspired when a lot of artists work for their art and gives a proper justice instead of running towards commercializing it. We all should use our talents as a tool to bring change in our society or change in ourselves.

What are you working on currently?

I have started a series on exploring Human Anatomy, where I am studying the forms, textures, shapes and flexibility of our body. I have started taking self portraits for this series. I want to take this series a little further where I explore the possibilities of movements a body can have with its extreme conditions.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

There are a lot of people who inspires me on daily basis but I think nature is my biggest inspiration. Nature has everything to offer if we are ready to take it.

What kind of artists would you be interested to collaborate with?

I would love to collaborate with artists who works under similar genre, where they believe in expressing themselves through their art.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

I make my Chai and have it while reading a book.

Which is the most used app in your phone?
